Open kiosk with friendly service. Recommendable. Inexpensive food and drinks.

Nice idea ... restaurant in the forest. Actually ideal after a hike. But if you are already scared away at the entrance to the parking lot because you want to hike instead of eating directly ... without words. Unfriendly v finest.

On Friday, September 11th, the two of us hiked from Gablenz to the Adelsberg Tower. We wanted to have lunch there, but the restaurant was closed and we were the only guests in the beer garden. In addition, there was only Bockwurst, Wiener and some packaged ice creams. That was all that day. We had to drink our beer from thin, disposable plastic cups. What a shame! We know it better from the past. We think that despite Corona, the kitchen could be opened for the beer garden. Too bad.

Beer tastes good, sausage as well and nice hosts ... and dog-friendly ... so worth a hike ...

An old traditional Chemnitz place / restaurant! My dream: a cable car from the city center there! 😉 So lotto fair; do something !

We were at a school entrance party. The hall is visually beautiful, but musty smell. There were plenty of cobwebs in the cloakroom and on the walls, not exactly inviting.

It started to rain in the beer garden. It is understandable that if there is no waiter within reach, one simply pulls the table 20 cm under the large umbrella. No idea why, but we were not served in the garden service area. The neighboring tables (about 4 pieces) were served, and the signs that guests wanted to be served were ignored. And that for an hour. Incredible! We ended up in the SB and got everything ourselves. There is one star for the friendly gentleman at the SB. "Here the guest turns with horror"

After 15 years here again and just as beautiful as it was back then. Saxon hospitality.

Very nice stopover on a trip ... was great here ... Beer garden open ... Roster and beer tasted ... Hospitality friendly ... what more could you want? ... we will be back.

According to the internet it should be open, but puff cake, it was all still closed. The staff sat smoking on the stairs of the outside area. The beer garden was swept up. The whole property run down. Everything was very expensive (according to the intrusive menu). A visit is not recommended. I will not go there again. After I gave my review, there was a comment from the owner within an hour. It is a pity that he is currently unable to keep his website up to date. Although he can comment on a negative rating within an hour.

Nice that someone is getting this restaurant. But something urgently needs to be invested there. Musty smell and inventory from the last century does not make up for the good food. And waiting for the meal of 1 1/2 hours is not possible at all!
